Self Portrait

Acrylic Ink on Arches Watercolour Postcard,6" x 4". For the past year I have regularly done self-portraits with my eyes closed in a dark room. I have been amazed at the "reality" of these portraits, which catch an always surprising aspect of "self" at the moment when I am drawing the portrait. Try this one at home, folks! This postcard was submitted to the Art Gallery of Ontario's "In Your Face" exhibition, on view from 2006-07-01 to 2007-07-01.
