Artist Trading Card - Peace

Detail from "Bedtime Stories", an anti-nuclear quilt, 98" x 72" which I constructed as a response to the all-consuming fear every time some nation deals with conflicts with threats to annihilate us all with more nuclear weaponry! The quilt was first shown in St. James Community Centre, on West 10th Ave. in Vancouver, then exhibited again in "PeaceTense" at the Canadian Centre for Peace on West 16th and Burrard Ave. in Vancouver, B.C. during the 2005 visit of the Dalai Lama to Vancouver, when many artists showed peace themed work throughout the city.
